For storage and transport the boards pack up in pairs. Each pack forming its own
wheel-able unit.
Been busy over the summer, Along with Phil, Simon and Tim (thanks chaps!) building 3 more boards for the layout. This means that all the boards for the Station are now complete. This area totals 22 feet in length and will most likely end up being around a third of the total scenic section of the layout

Been a while since I have updated the site so this is a bit of a bigger update than is the norm.

Time for another update. The main layout made its Public debut at Scaleforum 2008. I would like to thank all those who helped out or stopped by for a chat, an excellent weekend was had! The below picture is © Tim Horn and a few more pictures can be seen here.
Since Scaleforum I have been spurred on and begun construction of the retaining walls for the Wolverhampton end of the station. The picture below shows the in progress walls temporarily positioned on the board the check the fit. The class 304 emu gives a hint of scale. More pictures are here.

Work progresses on the retaining walls and they are not far from finished now. Just the laborious task of picking out different bricks in various different shades. For more pictures of progress so far click here.

Been busy working on the ex LNWR building that can be found at the Wolverhampton end of platform 1, Proving that not all things on a big layout have to be huge I had a spot of fun making a 4mm scale padlock for the shed that is hidden under the Hill Street Bridge. The penny is for scale!

With the help of WFRM I have produced etches to represent the c1/8 Concrete signalling troughing found lineside. More info and prices are here.
