87009 ‘city Of Birmingham’ (what else?) Originally a Lima model but now powered by the customary Bachmann Warship chassis. The chassis has been opened out a little and it sits on Hornby class 90 bogie sideframes. The roof has also been modified to better match the prototype.
To the front the original Lima roof layout while to the rear is my revised layout using the Hornby class 86 bus bar. The roof of an electric loco often shows this light browny green dust pattern caused by copper dust scraped from the OLE.
